ANNUAL NATIONAL USA CHILDREN'S CHECKERS
CHAMPIONSHIP
July 19-21, 2019 Vidor, TX
We are hosting the 2019 National Children's Checkers Championship. The location
will be in Vidor, TX. The date will be July 19-21, 2019.
We need your help!
We need to get the word out to all interested persons. Build it up! If we build
it. They will come.
We need sponsors! Money builds excitement. We are writing to major corporations
trying to get prizes, scholarships and more!
We need players. If you can come down and maybe serve with us to host the
tournament, we will put you to work.
The age for children will be 8-12
The age for Youth will be 13-17.
The tournament will be GAYP.

August 2019 Newsletter
The first Annual National USS Children's Checkers Championship was held July 19-21 at Vidor, Texas. Congratulations to Youth Co-Champions: Kostantin Kotelnikov and George Alai from Boca Raton, Florida. Both are 16 years of age. They played 4 rounds and each player had 4 wins and 4 losses. They each received a trophy, prizes, and title of Co-National Youth Champion 2019.
Congratulations to Children's Champions 12 and under:
1st place: Egor Koteinikov 11 years old Boca Raton. Egor had 13 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw - 27 points. Egor was named National Children Champion 2019 and received the title, trophy, and prizes.
2nd place: 3 way tie for second place with 24 points. David Austin, 9 years old, Vidor, Texas. He was awarded 2nd place National Trophy, prizes, and also Co-Texas State Championship. David had 12 wins and 4 losses. Tessa Franks, 9 years old, Vidor, Texas. Tessa was awarded 2nd place National Trophy, prizes, and also Co-Texas State Championship and named Girls National Champion. Tessa had 11 wins, and 2 losses, and 2 draws. Maksym Staroverov, 8 years old, Boca Raton, Florida. Max was awarded 2nd place National trophy and prizes. He had 11wins, 2 losses, and 2 draws. There were 9 players in the children's division.
6th and Under Division:
1st Alex Alai, Champion

Lucas Franks and Tyer Franks
3rd Dmytro Staroverov
